FOUNDATION

Elevate Your Non-Surgical Management of Periodontitis

Periocampus Foundation is the programme that has shaped the clinical thinking of hundreds of dental hygienists and dentists.

This is where we talk about conservative therapy — about preserving patients' natural dentition. It is, at its core, the highest-value approach in dentistry: safeguarding our patients' long-term health.

We examine in detail everything from screening to maintenance, and explore precisely why patient motivation and advanced subgingival instrumentation are pivotal to lasting clinical success.

FOUNDATION

What You'll Learn on the Foundation

Designed for those who want to command the full fundamentals of periodontology and manage every treatment step across the vast majority of cases. After Periocampus Foundation, you'll have everything you need to build advanced treatment plans, approach cases with clarity and composure, and expand your clinical expertise with genuine authority.

STEP 0

Risk Assessment and Periodontal Diagnosis

Identify the key signs immediately using an effective screening protocol, including in mild periodontitis cases. From there, build a thorough, rigorous, and precise diagnosis.

STEP 1

Non-Surgical Behaviour Change and Risk Factor Control
Build Periodontal Treatment Plans with Clinical Authority

Learn to design a strategic roadmap for every patient. Move beyond standard protocols to develop tailored treatment plans backed by clinical direction and the latest evidence-based guidelines.

Master Patient Engagement

Transform the patient relationship into a core therapeutic pillar. Master communication techniques that increase long-term adherence and turn "compliance" into a shared commitment to health.

Resolving Gingivitis with Purpose

Treat gingival inflammation not just as a routine procedure, but as a decisive clinical intervention. Use patient communication as a precision tool to resolve inflammation and prevent disease progression.

STEP 2

Non-Surgical Periodontal Therapy (NSPT)
Precision Instrumentation

Purpose-built hands-on sessions transform both the effectiveness and the confidence with which you work.

A more robust treatment approach

Approach non-surgical treatment with greater assurance — reducing uncertainty, raising the quality of your clinical decisions, and learning to use instruments correctly and purposefully.

STEP 4

The Long-Term Challenge

Understand why Supportive Periodontal Care (SPC) is a sophisticated clinical phase, not just a "hygiene recall."

Clinical Leadership

Align your team with a shared methodology and language, making your daily workflow more fluid and consistent.

FOUNDATION

The Periocampus Method:

More Than a Course, a Campus.

Are you ready to spend three days fully immersed in periodontology, working alongside faculty and peers, sharing cases, debating clinical decisions and building connections that extend well beyond the classroom?

We make one clear promise: an intensity that genuinely changes not just how you learn, but how you practise.

Three days of full immersion.

You do not sit and listen. You practise repeatedly and refine your technique under supervision. You leave with a method you can apply immediately.

You will be guided by an international faculty of clinicians and researchers who practise periodontology at the very highest level, every single day. These are figures with a global reputation who have shaped the field, yet who remain direct, accessible and refreshingly unpretentious. Periocampus has always been defined by the genuine relationship that develops between delegates and faculty. Ask questions, challenge ideas, speak up. That is what the Campus is for.

Periocampus faculty members are among the foremost authorities in periodontology, both in research and in clinical practice.

You will have the opportunity to engage directly with the people who helped build the evidence base for periodontal treatment and who apply those protocols every day in their own surgeries

What you build here does not end on the last day of the campus. The relationships, the clinical dialogue, the habit of thinking differently, these carry forward.

The Community is still alive through dedicated digital spaces reserved exclusively for Periocampus Alumni, you carry that energy home with you, along with privileges, early access and priority booking on all future events and courses.

Periocampus helps you build genuine expertise in periodontology — becoming a trusted reference point for your patients and your team. Not through what you say, but through how you work, the decisions you make, and the results you deliver.

Community Experience

Networking: The Core of the Campus

The Campus is your chance to step away from daily routine - “the chair” - and share meaningful time with a world-class international faculty and a cohort of like-minded peers.

It’s a dynamic environment to challenge your perspectives, clear up clinical doubts in real-time, and dive into the kind of honest, peer-to-peer dialogue that elevates the whole team.

And the experience doesn't end in the classroom. Mastery is a journey, not a weekend. As a Periocampus Alumnus, you’re part of a vibrant professional hub—both digital and physical—built for ongoing exchange. Stay at the cutting edge of periodontology through our year-round programme of events and our signature Annual Alumni Congress, supported by a network that actually shares your passion for excellence.

PROFESSIONALS

La Faculty

The clinicians and researchers you will be working with do not simply teach periodontology; they practise it, publish it and advance it, every single day, at both clinical and academic level.

The Campus gives you direct access to their thinking, their protocols and the way they approach the problems you face in your daily clinical practice.

With over 180 scientific publications to his name, he plays an active role in developing the most advanced protocols for the management of periodontal diseases, with a focus on integrating scientific evidence with clinical application and a commitment to preserving patients' natural teeth for life.

One of only three Italians ever to have served as President of the European Federation of Periodontology.

Who is
Cristiano Tomasi

Cristiano Tomasi is one of Europe's leading figures in periodontal therapy, combining rigorous scientific research with everyday clinical practice.

Professor of Periodontology at the University of Gothenburg, he has spent years developing and validating periodontal protocols — evidence-based, yet always grounded in real-world application.

His expertise centres on the management of periodontal patients across all phases of treatment, with a particular focus on peri-implant disease. His approach brings clarity to complexity, offering clinicians sound criteria for assessing, planning, and managing cases with greater confidence.
