Advanced Course
ADVANCED
Periocampus Advanced:
Equips you to manage every phase of Step 3 periodontal treatment with complete clinical autonomy and the criteria to know exactly when each intervention is indicated.
Periocampus Advanced: Step 3 Periodontal Treatment. Two Roles. One Level Up.
For dentists: the Step 3 surgical programme. Resective surgery, regenerative procedures, mucogingival surgery and full-mouth complex case management, with the clinical criteria to decide when each is indicated.
For dental hygienists: repeated subgingival instrumentation (RSI) for residual periodontal pockets, furcation management, peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis, alongside a structured workshop on patient motivation with simulation and role-play.
Through structured clinical dialogue and extensive hands-on practice, you leave with sharper decision-making criteria and more predictable long-term outcomes. Two pathways, one standard of clinical rigour.
Dentists:
33.8 CME Credits
Dental hygienists:
31.7 CME Credits
ADVANCED
Advanced Training
Periocampus Advanced is designed for clinicians with a working knowledge of periodontal therapy who are ready to manage the cases that Step 2 alone cannot resolve.
For dentists: complex case management, full-mouth surgical planning and Step 3 surgical technique — resective, regenerative and mucogingival.
For dental hygienists: repeated subgingival instrumentation (RSI) for non-responsive sites, furcation management, peri-implant mucositis management and evidence-based patient behaviour change.

ADVANCED
Who Is It For?
Periocampus Advanced is designed for professionals who already have a grounding in periodontology and are ready to operate at a higher level of clinical complexity.
Dentists
You already have experience in periodontal treatment and want to develop greater command over surgical planning and execution. Here you'll work on regeneration, mucogingival surgery, and complex cases — following a precise, structured sequence.
Dental Hygienists
You manage periodontal patients on an ongoing basis and want to deepen your understanding of clinical decision-making, integrate more proactively into the treatment plan, and sharpen your management of complex cases in true collaboration with the treating dentist.
ADVANCED
What You'll Learn on Advanced
Periocampus Advanced equips you to manage every phase of periodontal treatment with complete clinical autonomy.
For Dental Hygienists
Advanced Non-Surgical Therapy
Take your subgingival instrumentation to the next level and strengthen your non-surgical approach, including Step 3 re-instrumentation.
A dedicated focus on Stage III and Stage IV periodontitis means you'll return to practice with clarity and purpose — no more uncertainty.
Patient Management
Enhance patient motivation and long-term adherence through evidence-based behaviour change and lifestyle modification strategies.
Peri-Implantitis & Mucositis
Confidently identify and instrument both peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis.
For Dentists
When and Why to Operate
A true clinician doesn't simply perform surgery; they know precisely when it is indicated and why, integrating surgical decisions seamlessly within diagnosis, objectives, and the overall treatment plan.
Refined Surgical Technique
Beyond material selection (membranes, grafts, growth factors), you'll develop the ability to design and execute flap surgery with precision, adopting minimally invasive approaches at every stage.
Mucogingival Surgery
Crown lengthening, palatal connective tissue grafting, and root coverage techniques. Every detail covered, nothing left to chance.
ADVANCED
The Periocampus Method:
More Than a Course, a Campus.
Are you ready to spend three days fully immersed in periodontology, working alongside faculty and peers, sharing cases, debating clinical decisions and building connections that extend well beyond the classroom?
We make one clear promise: an intensity that genuinely changes not just how you learn, but how you practise.
Three days of full immersion.
You do not sit and listen. You practise repeatedly and refine your technique under supervision. You leave with a method you can apply immediately.
You will be guided by an international faculty of clinicians and researchers who practise periodontology at the very highest level, every single day. These are figures with a global reputation who have shaped the field, yet who remain direct, accessible and refreshingly unpretentious. Periocampus has always been defined by the genuine relationship that develops between delegates and faculty. Ask questions, challenge ideas, speak up. That is what the Campus is for.
Periocampus faculty members are among the foremost authorities in periodontology, both in research and in clinical practice.
You will have the opportunity to engage directly with the people who helped build the evidence base for periodontal treatment and who apply those protocols every day in their own surgeries
What you build here does not end on the last day of the campus. The relationships, the clinical dialogue, the habit of thinking differently, these carry forward.
The Community is still alive through dedicated digital spaces reserved exclusively for Periocampus Alumni, you carry that energy home with you, along with privileges, early access and priority booking on all future events and courses.
Periocampus helps you build genuine expertise in periodontology — becoming a trusted reference point for your patients and your team. Not through what you say, but through how you work, the decisions you make, and the results you deliver.

FAQ
Advanced is designed for professionals who already have a foundation in periodontal therapy. Completion of Periocampus Foundation (Steps 0–1–2) is recommended but not mandatory — equivalent clinical experience is equally valid.
Foundation (Steps 0–1–2) introduces non-surgical periodontal therapy and is suitable even for those approaching structured clinical periodontology for the first time. Advanced (Steps 3–4) explores complex patient management and surgical techniques, and is designed for those looking to specialise further or focus specifically on these stages. Foundation follows a shared pathway for both dentists and hygienists; Advanced offers two distinct pathways based on professional role.
